1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mach-Techs website at mach-techs.org, creating an account, enrolling in courses, booking services, making donations, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. About Mach-Techs

Mach-Techs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide through accessible IT services, technology training, bootcamps, and professional certifications. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities with the technology skills and resources they need to thrive.

3. Account Terms

  • Age requirement — You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Individuals under 18 may use our services with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
  • Accurate information — You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate.
  • Password security — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Account termination — We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or behaved in a manner that is harmful to other users or our organization.

4. Services

Mach-Techs provides a range of IT services including but not limited to technology consultation, managed IT support, cybersecurity solutions, cloud infrastructure, and software development.

All services are provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive to deliver high-quality results, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, timelines, or results from any service engagement. Service availability is subject to scheduling and resource constraints.

5. Training & Courses

  • Individual enrollment — Course enrollments are per-individual. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access course materials through your account.
  • Course materials — All course content, including videos, documents, exercises, and supplementary materials, is copyrighted by Mach-Techs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without our express written permission.
  • Certificates — Certificates of completion are issued upon successfully completing all required coursework. Certificates are non-transferable and are issued to the individual who completed the course.
  • Content updates — We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove course content at any time to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality. Updated content will be made available to enrolled students.

6. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe in United States Dollars (USD).

  • Course purchases — You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have completed less than 25% of the course content. Refund requests for courses with more than 25% completion will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Service bookings — You may cancel a booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
  • Donations — Donations are non-refundable. As a 501(c)(3) organization, donations to Mach-Techs are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
  • Scholarships — Scholarship awards are granted at the sole discretion of Mach-Techs. Scholarship decisions are final and non-transferable.

7. Donations

Mach-Techs is a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our Employer Identification Number (EIN) is available upon request.

Recurring donations may be cancelled at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@mach-techs.org. Cancellation will take effect before the next scheduled charge.

8. User Conduct

When using our services, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or any part of our infrastructure
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to access or extract data from our website without prior written consent
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share course materials, training content, or other proprietary resources
  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or disruptive behavior in any community features, discussion forums, or communications with staff or other users
  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mach-Techs website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, course materials, software, and the overall design and arrangement, is the property of Mach-Techs or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

If you submit content through community features such as discussion forums or comments, you retain ownership of your content but grant Mach-Techs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mach-Techs, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of our services exceed the total amount paid by you to Mach-Techs during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mach-Techs, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation by contacting us at info@mach-techs.org.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Georgia.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
